What I liked

I love Brook’s presence on stage, love how tech did amazing transitions so it was immidiately clear when is Brook in present and when is she back to her childhood or adolescent. I love how she is building up story, and slowley reveals layers of her relationship with her mom, and her daughter. I love how real, and at the same timr quite universal her story is, and the storytelling is absolutely superb! There are details in the show that are quite amazing.. and do not want to reveal it, but they do bring depth and authenticity to the show. Loved it!

My overall impression

Love this show! I laughed I cried, it is very personal story about Brook’s growing up, her motherhood and how relationships and how we show up in them are very much influenced by our own inner struggles that when brought to conciousness can be resolved and, more importantly understood and accepted as human and normal. And yes – a lot of tennis, which is a brilliant anchor to Brooks show, and important part of it. You do not need to be expert though, as each of us, I am sure, can identify with some aspects of Brook’s story.
