What I liked

When you sit in the audience of The Circle, you’re part of something that matters. You’re in the most important room in Los Angeles. You’re witnessing something blooming: the power of Derek Brooks’ pen, the precision of Max Pitegoff’s direction, the majesty of Krosby João Roza onstage, and how they all come together.
I will return to The Circle as many times as I can throughout the run, but still it breaks my heart to think of that strange perfect space in the attic of Rogue Machine not having this piece alive within it after June.
Never have a laughed so hard, gasped so much, or shivered so fully bodily in an LA theater seat.
David Román truly gave Los Angeles a gift by commissioning The Circle and putting these artists together to give it breath. Now give yourself the gift of sitting down to watch it.

What I didn't like

May The Circle go up all over the world. May it spread like a disease that feels so good. May it kill us all.

My overall impression

The American theatre needs Derek Brooks. If I could smoke his words like crack, I 10000% would. And I’m sober.
