Krosby João Rosa’s performance deftly carries the hyper specific characterization and dialogue of an iconic anti-hero. I commend production and the director for the choice of venue and staging as all parts of this piece are able to shine in their own right and keep you, as I was, enamored through the hour. Los Angeles is lucky to have writers like Brooks crafting to entertain, to conjure, to articulate the surrealism present in our strange city of Angels.
What I didn't like
This play should be seen with friends willing to embrace the intimate proximity of the venue, pack this play out to feel its full heat!
My overall impression
To attend “The Circle” is to attend theater pure. An hour of tight writing where Brooks has created a titan of a character with this modern Los Angeles everyman, landing each swing, earning each laugh and gasp through honest craft..
