What I liked
The performances were fantastic, and the writing is sharp. I loved the realism found in the dialogue, some of the overlapping and repetition very much made you feel like a fly on the wall in this world. A world you witness a very familiar set of conversations a lot of us have probably had with someone we love, in regards to our own choices and pursuit of what we love.
What I didn't like
The audio elements could be jarring at times. A challenge with the space, the placement of speakers, and the staging (hearing something above your head like a phone alarm that’s meant to be taking place a few feet in front of you). But nothing that took away from my love of the piece.
My overall impression
A beautiful piece about the struggle between pragmatism and following your dreams, and the challenge of not passing down our own mistakes.
