What I liked
Sometimes plays that are this “contained” feel like they have nothing to say; this is the opposite. Danny & Co. do a LOT with a little. Anyone who watches this show will see a piece of themselves in it and not just in the show as a whole but within each of its intricately written characters.
What I didn't like
This would be better served in 270° rather than in-the-round. I had a perfect seat and felt bad for the folks sitting opposite who were missing large parts of the performance.
My overall impression
Exceptional writing & wonderful performances. Unplugged Electric Guitar is both universal and specific – I’m so happy to have seen it.
