The dialogue was extremely natural and grounded. I felt as if I was immediately transported inside the homes of these characters. I really enjoyed the balance between peace and chaos, the specifics of the staging and sound design created moments of environmental tension during the chaos while funneling all attention to the characters during the peace. Excellent work.
What I didn't like
None from me! This is a lovely show.
My overall impression
Unplugged Electric Guitar gets to the core of each of its characters and shows us, unfiltered, who they are. It examines dreams and how they change, family in all its different shapes, and asks: when do you hold onto something good, and when is it time to let go? A truly touching and grounded show.
