What I liked
I loved the historical references peppered with modern touches of humor, and you can’t not feel great about the unexpected payoff at the end! The pacing was spot-on, and the flawless coordination of lighting shifts and sound effects really brought this single narrative to life!
What I didn't like
I loved the shifts in lighting to dramatic red colors, which necessitates starting with normal key lighting for emphasis, but I would suggest given the context of the story to have a less bright, more subdued normal light to put it in a slightly surreal context. (Think David Fincher lighting)
My overall impression
This is a great story with a delightfully unique concept and a very engaging performance!
