My overall impression
I had a fantastic time at I Suck – A Vampire Comedy. The concept was original, hilarious, and surprisingly heartfelt. The performer carried the entire production with incredible energy, seamlessly switching between humor, vulnerability, and absurdity. What could have been a simple comedy became a clever exploration of loneliness, purpose, and the challenges of existing for centuries when you’re stuck in a rut.
The writing was sharp, witty, and full of unexpected laughs, while the character felt relatable despite being, well, a vampire. The performer’s timing and stage presence kept the audience engaged from beginning to end. I found myself laughing one moment and genuinely empathizing with the character the next.
