What I liked

What made this performance so special is how raw, honest, and fearless it is. She shares deeply personal parts of her life with so much humor, vulnerability, and creativity that you can’t help but feel connected to her. I found myself laughing one minute and fighting back tears the next.

I’ve known Karen for more than 20 years, and I walked away realizing there was so much of her story I never knew. That made this experience even more meaningful. It is beautifully written, brilliantly performed, and one of those rare shows that stays with you. I feel lucky to have seen it.

What I didn't like

I genuinely can’t think of anything that needed improvement. I was completely engaged from beginning to end. It was funny, emotional, beautifully written, and so well performed. I wouldn’t change a thing.

My overall impression

I absolutely loved this show. Karen is an incredible storyteller with a voice that belongs on Broadway. She somehow manages to make you laugh, break your heart, and leave you thinking long after it’s over.
