What I liked

Karen Macarah as a performer is so accessible and warm and funny, the show feels as if you’re her friend, sharing personal time with her. The song selections were great, and her delivery of them was masterful. I really liked the use of the angel/devil on her shoulder, as they allowed Karen to speak about her feelings through humorous and vivid characters.

What I didn't like

There’s a little more tightening and focus that would help us through the very brave and vulnerable discourse on body image. There’s some universality in this that could be explored a little further.

My overall impression

A delightful and moving hour of reflection, humor, wisdom, and just plain fantastic singing.
