This show has an excellent ensemble cast. The writing is equally funny, disturbing, and thought-provoking. In particular, I commend both the script and the actors performances for making each character feel so distinct and lived in. With an ensemble of this size, it can be tricky to keep track of everyone but Women Who Eat handles it deftly.
What I didn't like
In future productions of this script, the pacing and transitions in the second half of the show could be tightened up a bit. Also, a lot of action takes place on the floor, and unless you’re sitting in the front row, it can be difficult to see sometimes.
My overall impression
Women Who Eat is a ferocious dark comedy that isn’t afraid to make its audience squirm.
