What I liked
Some fun character tropes played! LOVE the coven of women with this salacious insatiable pact!
Great execution scene with blood splattering. VERY effective and we just couldn’t get enough of the squirts. Super gross seeing you girls each the little bits of flesh and the juiciness of the blood around your mouths. I wanted to see someone slice his neck for a final BELLAGIO FOUNTAIN EFFECT over all the girls at once.
What I didn't like
I don’t know if you NEED the Sailor monologue scene? It’s silly, but I can’t say I clung to anything he said. To me it felt seafarer rambly, and I thought the story already ended so I wasn’t sure why we were lingering in this unrelated epilogue.
Venue note – it was TOO HOT. We were all suffering.
My overall impression
Really impressed with Devin’s work – performance, writing, direction. I loved this show. A great “girls nite in” kinda vibe, with gore – and a different type of mental health issue than we normally see in entertainment. It was camp and took itself seriously when it needed to, and just fucking played the rest of the time. It seemed like all the actors had fun with this piece.
