What I liked
The writing is snappy and engaging, but some of my favorite moments were really poetically executed monologues by a few of the characters. The actors really got to sink their teeth into those… pun intended. :)
Also loved the special effects— not easy to do at Fringe!! Well done!
What I didn't like
Theater AC wasn’t working – it was uncomfortably hot but the show itself and the actors’ energy made up for it!
My overall impression
Such a fun show! It tackles a lot of things in an hour and a half – womanhood, mental illness, recovery, queerness, feminine rage, ritualistic psychosis… I was very impressed! Felt elements of Girl, Interrupted and Yellowjackets, both of which I love, so I was in my element!
