This dark comedy is a wildly entertaining ride from start to finish. The cast threw themselves fully into every moment and the energy never let up, keeping the audience engaged throughout the whole show. This is the kind of production that showcases what can happen when talented artists pour their passion and hard work into a project. Don't miss Devin Davis-Lorton's incredible writing debut! ... full review

The show is fun as fuck! Lord of the Flies meets Girl, Interrupted. An ambitious, funny, and at times absurd show that doesn't talk down to its audience. The themes of revolution against the patriarchy and the expectations set on women which cause them to contort themselves to measure up, and being punished for not following rules they were never a part of creating are apparent. There are more existential (and absurd) questions posed like, "When does a person stop being a person and become meat?" (paraphrased)... full review

This show was truly amazing! The writing and directing was incredible, the actors didn’t feel like they were acting, and the plot was so intriguing! I loved all the small details and I never found myself becoming bored. There was such a good balance of comedy and dramatic gore, truly unlike anything i’ve seen before.... full review

Such a fun show! It tackles a lot of things in an hour and a half - womanhood, mental illness, recovery, queerness, feminine rage, ritualistic psychosis… I was very impressed! Felt elements of Girl, Interrupted and Yellowjackets, both of which I love, so I was in my element! ... full review

Fringe is so many things - one person shows, clown shows, experimental theater, traditional theater - whatever kind of show you're doing, it has to be either funny, deeply experimental, take wild swings, really go for your heart or be really surprising. If it doesn't do at least one of those things, what's the point? Women Who Eat is surprising, funny and takes some wild swings and it makes the festival better because of that! This is a great play that while you might figure out where it's leading after 30 minutes, it's how they do it and what happens next that's most important. Laugh out loud gross, sharply written and I really appreciate the speed of the dialogue and action in this play. There's little to no wasted space here - it st... full review
