What I liked

The set design and transitions are impressive especially in the small theater. For a play that takes place in a building, one definitely gets the sense of how large and expansive that building is.

The sound design added so much to the environment.

The actors did an incredible job of portraying very different and distinct characters. I was impressed with the depth portrayed and the ability of the actors to actually cry with their own tears

What I didn't like

I would add a trigger warning about recreational drug use and consent (to refuse) being denied, but it goes with the theme of not trusting one’s own mind.

My overall impression

This original drama play is hauntingly beautiful. Themes of repressing memory and emotions and secrets kept.

It’s a long play at two hours, (and the bathrooms to the venue are all the way downstairs so that intermission goes by quick), but if you want to be moved by a spectacular original drama this Fringe season, make sure to see Hummingbirds Are Not Machines.
