I loved the originality of the story and the songs that still felt relatable (feeling stuck, believing in your dreams, being truly seen by someone). Loved the madame she leaned into the camp PERFECTLY!!
What I didn't like
The idea is really strong just needs to be finessed and strengthened technically both with more seasoned actors/singers/dancers and a better overall venue/stage that could better lend itself to the bold and big storytelling!
My overall impression
What a wild ride. From start to finish I went on a real JOURNEY full of many ups and downs. It harkens the cult campiness of Rocky Horror and Priscilla Queen of The Desert but lacks the technical execution needed to rise to such a lofty occasion.
