What I liked

I think the story was cute and I enjoyed the Madame character and her assistant Cookie!

What I didn't like

I couldn’t really hear most of the dialogue and singing. I don’t think the singers were using mics which may have helped them not get drowned out by the music. I think the transitions between scenes could use some music. There were several long periods of silence while things were moved around on stage. The stage hands did their best to keep the audience engaged but you can only do so much on a blacked out stage.

My overall impression

Started strong, funny, enjoyable. The talent is there but the fire is missing. Characters in the background check out as soon as they are not actively speaking lines. Felt like 95% of the cast just wasn’t into it. Maybe they were tired? I was still entertained but a lot of things fell short.
