Each of the characters are memorable, and it felt like all of them had something important to move the plot forward. The backdrops were also helpful for establishing the setting and the tone of each scene. The foley was an excellent choice!
What I didn't like
The overall pacing for the actors could be a bit faster, and the sound was too loud at the beginning during the Old Woman’s dialogue (but y’all fixed that pretty early on)
My overall impression
“Something’s Wrong in Wraithwood” is a promising and engaging start to what I hope is a long-running series. The protagonist, Violet, was instantly intriguing because of Iris Perry’s wonderful performance, and the writers introduced a mysterious yet vibrant cast of characters to round out the town. One of my favorite aspects was the live foley, which enhanced the spooky atmosphere of the show. If you like “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” or “The X-Files,” I definitely recommend “Something’s Wrong in Wraithwood.”
