What I liked
The conflict between the Zuckerberg-esque young man and his older eccentric relative, given their different values, was engrossing.
Plus the idea of a tablet which can control the entire world, even nature, was cool. Black Mirror-esque.
I also like stories with claustrophobic tension, and these characters were basically stuck in a cabin in the woods.
What I didn't like
There were three times I thought the story was about to reach a perfect ending – two of them with the old man using a gun to kill the other characters, one with him taking control of the tablet. Any of the three would have done a great job showing how technology can’t be a match for old-fashioned human ingenuity.
Instead, the story kept going every time, and culminated in some odd thing involving a paper airplane I didn’t even understand the significance of. Sometimes less is more.
