Casting female performers as Matt Damon and Ben Affleck was inspired! Jessica Beron and Bailey Norton never lean into obvious impersonations or parody — they play the roles seriously in a seriously funny way, creating their own unique interpretations of these men that still ring true. I also loved how they got to stretch their acting range (and accent work!) as the other celebrities who briefly pop in for cameos. Also, great wigs all around!
What I didn't like
I wish there had been a paper version of the playbill — but maybe I missed it!
My overall impression
Fantastic actors and subtle, effective direction and lighting bring out the hidden depths of the zany script, while still having a ton of laugh-out-loud moments.
