The set design. The performances. Both meta and authentic engagement between “the host” and the audience.
Loved the juxtaposition of a vapid show in the context of apocalypse
What I didn't like
I enjoyed the quarantine character, but even seated in the center of the audience I couldn’t quite see the see-through screen — maybe it could be cheated out.
But that’s a super granular critique — this was so much fun to watch!
My overall impression
So much fun! Effective not only as a satire of late night/variety, but the bits and sketches within the show were funny in their own right. A comedic and stylistic commentary of the media and contemporary times
