What I liked
I loved that the main actor inhabited so many different characters over the course of the hour, and yet the show never lost its sense of direction. It flowed seamlessly from one bit to the next, connecting the characters together in surprising ways. There were also hilarious video segments where characters reappeared throughout and interacted with one another. I found myself nodding along and listening close, as the jokes were tightly packed on top of one another. Truly a great experience!
What I didn't like
Sometimes I laughed too long and missed a joke that others laughed at. Maybe that was on me!
My overall impression
Extinction Burst is a wholly unique and consistently laugh-out-loud one man comedy show that is densely packed with jokes that are both hilarious and culturally relevant. It is impressively performed with incredible energy and focus by Tyler Foltz.
