I like how the story felt like it was going deeper and deeper instead of wider. Yasi literally let us into her brain, see what she is seeing, think what she is thinking. It also felt gritty. The jokes are so funny. Sometimes Yasi lets you sit in the joke, sometimes she delivers and it’s like you’re doing a double take “did she really just say that?” I love it.
What I didn't like
I felt like this was so well written and well done. I don’t have any big notes.
My overall impression
Man this was a ride! You think you know what you’re getting into and then it flips and then it flips again in a way that totally caught me off guard. The questions I had throughout were answered at the end which was masterful and felt like the whole point. Yasi’s writing allowed the audience to feel as she did.
