What I liked
I loved how interactive the show was. Between Maddie’s writing and Daniel’s sound fx the cartoonish vibe kept us all filled with childlike glee.
What I didn't like
I would drape a curtain over the mirror which served as a backdrop to the toy courtroom—I krit catching LA patrons checking themselves out when they should’ve been paying attention.
My overall impression
I had an absolute blast! Maddie is very funny, charismatic, and unique as a performer—she carried the room extremely well. I love the way she blends in clown throughout (good clown, I promise) while keeping the material accessible to a wide array of patrons. Special shout out to her sound FX producer who helped the show flow in such an hilarious way from top to bottom!
