What I liked
The family dynamics worked beautifully. I truly felt the interpersonal relationships between the sisters was great and wanted to see them both succeed. I loved the world building and would watch a fuller version of this in the future! Even though it was a bilingual show, I was still able to follow along with all of the character beats.
What I didn't like
When it shifts to fantasy, I would have loved to see it go a little bigger design wise, but with it being Fringe, that means it has room to grow!
My overall impression
A fun mix of realism and fantasy, Somos Aire is a beautiful story of taking care of family and your neighborhood, in more ways than one. As someone who left home to pursue my dreams, this story made me think about the life left behind.
