The storyline has potential and I like that this honors a culture. The man who played El Primo brought a good presence to the show that acted like glue in moments that were otherwise lacking.
What I didn't like
More truthful acting moments without over/under investment. Too many things were left to my imagination based on what was happening on stage.
My overall impression
A great concept but not nearly developed with the necessary skill and direction.
