What I liked
Doña Remedios – Jasmin Iraheta was great! Her costume, her energy – she made an impact on me. The woman who played mom was great – especially when she had to play the chicken without her nose that kept falling off. She didn’t miss a beat. The main character was energetic. The whole cast really put themselves in this.
What I didn't like
Nothing really. Timing issues are always something when it’s a small venue and it’s the opening night. Everyone did great.
My overall impression
It was a really well done play. The content had depth and weight. It was layered with cultural and restorative justice. I loved that the crew helped each other through each scene.
