While the story is fantastical the characters all felt very real (even the puppet). The production team had a clear vision for the look of the show and it is gorgeous. Even the cereal boxes are used to help build the world of the play. The writing is funny and helps to counterbalance the more serious themes and events of the show. It’s a show that people of all ages would be able to see and enjoy.

My overall impression
This is a love-letter to San Ysidro and its residents, as well as a warning about the challenges faced by those who face the side-effects of an increasingly polluted world by those and don’t have the access to large tax-bases or tons of media attention.
