What I liked
I thought the director did a fine job of traffic control with the over 2 dozen people in the cast. A good use of the three doors on the stage and the 2 entrances through the audience. The two leads were strong, especially the actor who portrayed Kate. A tough job making her sympathetic and yet keeping her anger real and grounded.
What I didn't like
Could see even more trimming down of the script and reducing the cast to only the essentials. As a former performer in the internationally known Reduced Shakespeare Company, if you’re tackling the Bard in this manner then really go for it! We did The Complete Works of William Shakespeare with only 3 people.
My overall impression
A good introduction for those not familiar with Shakespeare. I could see this show touring middle and high schools!
