What I liked

I felt so lucky that I was chosen to zip up the Marilyn dress! Great moment of audience interaction. Using the spice rack as a pill/shot glass tower was excellent. On a serious note, I loved how much Anna loved her late husband. It’s a relationship that people are quick to judge and look down upon, but Alli’s connection felt so sincere.

What I didn't like

The Marilyn/Anna fight is a really interesting choice. At first I was just a bit confused as to what was happening, but I caught on. I would love to see it fleshed out further! Alli is a queen for tackling all of that in a corset and a dress!

My overall impression

Alli Herman has a beautiful stage presence, and her talent shines in this tiny but mighty show. I only wish it was longer so I could spend more time with her earnest embodiment of Anna Nicole Smith. It inspires empathy for her story, and all the sex symbols who are misunderstood.
