What I liked
I loved the character work clearly done on embodiment!! Love was the centering aspect and the invasive way we hurt those we just see as celebrities. I loved the set and the use of the carousel of pills was SO BRILLIANT.
What I didn't like
I could have sat for more! :) Though not really something to improve – the piece gave what we needed. I’m now going to go research more about anna nicole!!
My overall impression
I felt this one in my bones!! Alli had such gravitas and sensitivity that reminded me of the bombshells that I love to love! I felt her grief, her humor, her desperation. Her willingness to explore the bold, the profane, the breakfast burrito: was nothing short of extraordinary.
