It was my second time seeing the show and it was just as captivating as the first time. Great writing that is witty & funny keeps you ‘giggling’ throughout. At the same time the dialogue is poignant & emotional which allows you to do a little soul searching in between. I’m still amazed at her wonderful performance and should be a must see if your into the fringe – BE DIFFERENT. ... full review

what an amazing hour of pure raw talent and entertainment! We were vibrating from the energy Keaton created. She raged with every kind of emotion. Loved it loved and major kudos to the director Kelleia. They both need to hop on a bus and take this gem on the road. It's too good to keep it to keep it in the closet! - debbie... full review

Keaton moved seamlessly through so many relatable emotions. She was vulnerable and hysterical, sad and inspiring -all at the same time. The direction didn't miss a beat. Every moment had a meaning. I absolutely loved it. Go see it!... full review

It takes a very courageous actor to do a one-person show. It takes an even more courageous one to bare their soul and navigate the waters with such ridiculous physical and mental fortitude. As an actor I know of these challenges first-hand, and can only say I was blown away by Keaton Talmadge's performance. The themes are familiar and universal, but often misunderstood; especially given the current climate surrounding Prop 8 and equality legislation nationwide. Although the show only hints at current affairs, it does much more, by allowing us to catch a unique, transparent glimpse of the tormented soul of someone who pushes through adversity and questions of identity. Kelleia Sheerin's direction is spot-on, nailing the frenetic ac... full review

I'm still stunned. I went to the show on June 8th, and I was left speechless for 10 minutes-when we talked afterwards the most I could manage was simply "....damn." The fact that Keaton was able to put her story on stage for not just friends, but total strangers, still inspires me, and her witty yet vulnerable way she tells her story has still left me stunned. Her's is a story of love, heartbreak, authenticity, and so much hope. I hope everyone has a chance to see her show. I laughed so hard that I cried, and there were so many moments when I thought my heart had stopped beating as I waited for the resolution to her conflict. She speaks to a level of humanity and human connection that I wish we could all find-a place where we accept ourselve... full review

Raw. Emotional. On Point. An hour show which passes by at lightning speed, taking you through a series of scenes that draws in audience empathy and leaves you in a reflective state. Keaton's performance and writing is outstanding. It's a must see.... full review

Define: Different goes beyond Keaton's raw talent, engaging charisma, and brilliant physicality by challenging us to question where all of our complicated emotions of love come from. She slashes through all the labels and preconceived notions of love and gives an honest, real, first hand account on what love really is. Highly relate-able, briskly paced, well executed, and a must see!... full review

Ms. Keaton Talmadge is a talented performer, one of the best, but as a writer she is approaching greatness. "Define: Dif-fer-ent" was fun, potent, uplifting, deep and consuming. I do believe that was the fastest hour of the festival. If this doesn't get picked up by some production company Hollywood is losing out. I highly recommend you see her now before you have to pay $200 to see her on Broadway.... full review
