The use of dance to explore the inner monologue of the characters was brilliant and so satisfying.

My overall impression

Bus People was a REVELATION! Not only was the writing fantastic but it made us understand the value of using public transportation. I felt so energized by this show that I took the bus later that day and it felt so good. Tamra Brown is a marvel at character work, but also her use of dance to explore some of her characters was incredible. I highly recommend this show. I know it’s a cliche, but I truly laughed and cried. What a beautiful show. I’ve seen many solo shows and this was my favorite. Really polished and well executed.
