This show is hard to look away from. Every second something on that stage is happening and it's all because of the outstanding cast and extremely realistic and personal writing. The characters are very well fleshed out and even the ones that you don't agree with, you can still understand. The drama is only heightened by the amazing comedic moments. ... full review

Wedding Party encapsulates the excitement and anxiety of wedding planning and the emotionality of navigating the people surrounding what some would call the biggest event of their lives. It's an in-depth look at the complexities of female friendships and the emotional carnage that users leave in their wake. Writer-director Barrón is terrific at balancing levity, heart, and grief, and her cast delivers, creating a very relatable story. ... full review

Adriana isn't afraid to be brutally honest in her writing, and it's cathartic! The messy complexities of female friendship were illustrated in several different dynamics, making it hard not to find this show relatable. ... full review

This show is by far my favorite show of the Hollywood Fringe festival. The writing was phenomenal. The cast was so deeply rooted in the story and took the audience on its emotional journey. An actor shines brightly under a great script and all of the actors onstage did. ... full review

A thoroughly unique, entertaining, and HIGHLY melodramatic soap opera (in a good way) comedy that has the most supportive & passionate white boyfriend I've ever seen in a romantic comedy that isn't about a love interest but about the hero's friends.... full review

Wedding Party is a TREAT. This show leads with heart and is unapologetically vulnerable, exciting to watch, and cinematic –– it's like watching an intelligent, funny, feel-good Netflix movie in real time. The show is driven by a brilliant, inspired, and deeply inspiring performance by Ariana Williams as Ximena opposite Ryan Jaske in a fantastically grounded, present performance as her fiancé Jason. This show is acted and directed with SUCH emotional intelligence. As protagonist Ximena sifts through the absolute heartache of her estrangement from the girlfriends she once held closer to her heart than her family, the audience is taken compassionately but unflinchingly though the pain of living with your heart on your sleeve and trying to pleas... full review

Good, straightforward play. Cute, entertaining. Unapologetically girl-coded; we got the wedding, the therapy speak, the co-dependent friend, the mean girls. We have all met these people. ... full review
