What I liked
The performances in this production were strong across the board, with a talented cast! I liked the blocking a ton!
What I didn't like
Ultimately, I struggled with the central theme. The play felt repetitive at times, revisiting the same ideas without adding enough new perspective. I also found it difficult to understand the protagonist’s motivation for wanting these old friends at her wedding, especially given how poorly they seemed to have treated her in the past. There wasn’t much exploration of the “why” she wanted that.
My overall impression
While I wanted to know more about these friendships and where the animosity came from, there were strong performances and character dynamics. Left with a feel good ending.
