Wedding Party encapsulates the excitement and anxiety of wedding planning and the emotionality of navigating the people surrounding what some would call the biggest event of their lives. It’s an in-depth look at the complexities of female friendships and the emotional carnage that users leave in their wake. Writer-director Barrón is terrific at balancing levity, heart, and grief, and her cast delivers, creating a very relatable story.
