The overall tone and willingness to play is fantastic! Not to mention the extremely detailed set. (I was at the show immediately before, and they TRANSFORMED the space!) Nicole Souza and Harold Nieves Fisch ground this zany piece as the charming, emotional hearts of the piece while Sanjay Rao and Tiffany Elle practically bounce off the walls and perform some of the quickest fast changes in the West to portray everyone else in the airport. The result is a hilarious, relatable four-hander that exceeds its constraints, and even manages to be a bit touching. If you’ve ever been stuck in the airport and daydreamed about meeting a fascinating stranger, this play is for you!
What I didn't like
The pacing was a little drawn out and I was hoping to see the side characters’ plots feed more into the main story. I’m not that mad about it, as I enjoyed the characters and performances, and would happily spend more time in this terminal (and literally no others…I hate flying).
My overall impression
Wild antics ensue when a hapless, overworked assistant finds herself seated next to a manic pixie dreamboat waiting on an eternally-delayed flight!
