We regret to inform you that your flight has been indefinitely delayed. Welcome to THE LAYOVER, a grounded absurdist comedy about an absurdly grounded flight. We’ll take care of your baggage, whether it’s oversized or emotional.

Two busy travelers connect at gate B11 during an unexpected layover at the Tulsa Airport. Searching for a way out, the travelers plot grand schemes, confront their biggest obstacles, and witness the greatest love story ever told. Godzilla, Russian nesting dolls, and the best damn burger in Tulsa. It’s all happening on THE LAYOVER!  

World premiere of the new play by Amanda Gnaedinger & Harold Nieves Fisch, and directed by Mo LeBlanc, THE LAYOVER is a satire with heart, with inspiration from comedy classics like Airplane!, When Harry Met Sally, and Waiting for Guffman.
