Split - Between Two Nervous Systems

What I liked

I appreciated her using her dance to express difficulties in her life. There was one dance on the floor in a sheet and the sound was very moving- I wanted her to standup to get the full effect. Brave storytelling or how our bodies struggle to process difficult and intense emotions.

What I didn't like

The more Dimple works on this show, the tighter the transitions and the beats. This show feels like it is in the beginning of its development. Dimple has the dancer chops, and with time may feel how to best express herself with words.

My overall impression

Dimple is a gifted dancer and physical story teller. Her training in Indian dance and storytelling is beautiful and at times breathtaking. My favorite moments were her own moments of awe and surprise.
