What I liked
One of my favorite aspects of Doom Girls was the chemistry between Jenni Chiaramonte, Nina Rancel, and Alex Sarno. The three performers genuinely felt like a team, and their camaraderie brought a lot of energy and charm to the production. Whether they were working together as extraterrestrial secret agents or bandmates, there was an easy rapport between them that made their relationships believable and fun to watch. Jenni and Nina both showcased beautiful, angelic singing voices throughout the show, while Alex has a natural magnetism and confidence onstage that immediately draws your eye whenever she appears. Together, the trio created a playful dynamic that felt like the heart of the production. I also enjoyed the colorful, comic book-inspired world of the show and appreciated the creativity behind its imaginative sci-fi premise.

Doom Girls is the kind of original work that reminds me why I enjoy Hollywood Fringe. It celebrates creativity, collaboration, and artists having the freedom to build worlds that come directly from their imaginations. Directed and produced by Matt Morillo, the show is filled with enthusiasm and a clear love for storytelling. More than anything, I enjoyed watching a talented group of artists come together and fully commit to bringing this unique adventure to life. The cast’s chemistry, musical talent, and sense of fun made for an enjoyable evening, and I left appreciating the passion and hard work that went into creating an entirely original piece of theater.
