The chemistry between the actors was fantastic. What stood out most was that these characters feel like they have a life beyond the stage…. I could easily imagine their further adventures as short episodes, vignettes, or reels. There’s a really strong concept here, and the world they’ve created feels perfect for expansion. I left feeling like I’d happily watch more of these characters.
What I didn't like
The sound was a bit uneven at the beginning. Definitely not the performers’ fault… this feels like the kind of show that should burst open with the energy and volume of a rock concert. That’s a difficult effect to create in a black box theater, but a more fully realized production design or stronger opening technical elements might help establish that feeling for the audience and grab their attention right from the start.
My overall impression
A really fun, strong, female-driven piece of theatre!
