The exaggerated low tech really brought self-deprecating authenticity to the fast-food theater scene that defines the fringe festival, taking what is inherently the worst things about theater and running with that jubilantly into inspiring, introspective humor. Trash bag wall was essential.
What I didn't like
I believe it could be longer, fleshed out another 20 minutes at least. Although it seemed to work in the fast-food theater environment of the Fringe. However, If we are doing fast-food theater perhaps we should be charging fast-food prices, making multiple quick shows such as this, sensible to view, a theater snack smorgasbord.
My overall impression
The show was incredibly self aware of theatrical conventions and stereotypes utilized to full effect poking fun at itself and shows like it. Fully committed acting bringing hope and delusional joy to our sad existence.
