The main character is so natural, lovable, and relatable! She’s the sweetest!
I loved how the scene transitions were played out! No time was wasted. Everything was made useful. There are some very clever effects used to bring you into Celine’s world. I also loved the feminist threading that weaves this play together. Well done!
What I didn't like
Honestly? Nothing. But perhaps maybe speak up just a little louder for those hard of hearing
My overall impression
This show was so fun from start to finish! The entire cast did an incredible job bringing their characters nuance and humor. The star of the show, Ian McPherson, represented the quintessential, early 90’s, career-woman divorcée with such class and grace I swear I tasted Juicy Fruit gum and smelled Obsession by Calvin Klein.
If you’re a fan of early 90s nostalgia and/or good drag, you’re sure to enjoy this show!
