A sweet, nostalgic ride down memory lane through Kel’s journey with their own identity. So much humor and heart. So cool to see a person live so many lives and eventually become the fully realized version of themself standing before you. ... full review

The phrase "I laughed and I cried" doesn't sum it up. I LAUGHED and I CRIED. Kel is such a wonderful performer to watch. They have such a SKILL for making the audience feel comfortable, brought in, and taken care of. ... full review

Beautiful, touching show. An honest, bright, and silly exploration of the queer journey. Kel generously shares their heart with us, and tempers these raw moments with their unique humor and voice. Deeply personal, the one-person show follows Kel Cripe's journey into discovering their gender. The Magic Computer offers unsolicited photos that are memories from the past, and Cripe is here to share and explore what has come up on their magic computer. Cripe has a comedian's instinct for finding humor in vulnerability, and the laughs arrive naturally alongside genuinely moving moments. A wickedly funny and important show, one that offers insight and soul-stirring moments. I highly recommend this show. Like the memories it explores, you never quite know what will surface next, and that's part of what makes the experience so special. ... full review

Kel Cripe's non-binary, clean-cut humor is relatable, heartfelt, and absolutely touching. Through a "magic computer" filled with awkward childhood photos and memories, they take the audience on a journey of self-discovery that had everyone laughing one minute and dabbing at tears the next. Kel's personality is incredibly endearing. They share their story with honesty and vulnerability, while laughing at themselves in such a loving way that you can't help but laugh right along with them. The show is narrated through what feels like a queer PowerPoint presentation, complete with hilarious photos and stories from their past. Thank you, Kel Cripe, for sharing your journey, your bravery, and your undeniable wit with us. ... full review
