Such a generous subject matter, one’s own identity. I feel so lucky that Kel chose to share themself with us. I was also very impressed by the language of the play which shifted from heartfelt to tongue in cheek while maintaining authenticity.
What I didn't like
I was very excited when Kel was in commune with The Magic Computer, I think these moments can be expanded upon! Small note, I was sitting front row center, and at times I couldn’t see the image projected. Possibly just moving the image higher on the wall could help for future drafts!
My overall impression
The phrase “I laughed and I cried” doesn’t sum it up. I LAUGHED and I CRIED. Kel is such a wonderful performer to watch. They have such a SKILL for making the audience feel comfortable, brought in, and taken care of.
