What I liked

The side by side comparisons of Madi and her father’s social media profiles was really affecting, as was the YouTube footage of child Madi. I loved feeling the inner child at the heart of this piece come through, I wanted to give her a hug and also let her know she should be so proud of herself! Avery and Madi were an incredible duo, playing off each other with incredible timing and physical comedy. 😙👌

What I didn't like

Madi’s dad shouldn’t have said that mean stuff about her ):

My overall impression

This show was like taking my inner child to a rave. The perfect blend of hilarious and heartfelt. Madi and Avery have an infectious energy that you truly cannot look away from. A true example of tragedy + time = comedy. Amazing sound design & multimedia projections added to the experience of being in a chaotic internet livestream. Madi might be her father’s daughter, but she is also a tour de force of entirely her own creation. So powerful and so vulnerable at the same time!
