Perfectly written running gags, astounding set and prop design, superb mixed media use, fantastic audience engagement, and a genuinely thought provoking through line about the playwright’s relationship with her father that makes you reflect on your own relationship with your parents.
What I didn't like
Even knowing this box would be here, I did not go into this performance with any critical mindset. I had high expectations for this show going into it and they were met, if not surpassed.
My overall impression
Don’t miss out on Madi Hart redefining the solo show as therapy. Hilarious from start to finish, touching from the end of the first act to the finale.
