The environment was richly evoked. The costumes and props were all wood and moss and fur and natural materials, which really helped ground the setting. I liked the use of music, too.

My overall impression
What a reimagining! This is a story steeped in history and nature. This is a Lady MacBeth who is wild and cautious, grieving and fiercely loving, kin to warriors and a poetess. The play is so grounded in the time and place, so immersed in historical goings-on and human emotions, that the mysticism feels somber and grounded too, rather than flighty or silly. This play moved me deeply!
