What I liked
I loved the wonderful costumes, the sets and the sense of humor that was woven through the tragedy and heartbreak. The four actors are all magnificent and the way in which outside characters are described and envisioned has you come away feeling that there must have been more actors there than just the four! Catch it while you can!
What I didn't like
Nothing to improve! I found the play was very real and transporting the whole way through!
My overall impression
The Real Lady Macbeth is a powerfully acted and beautifully produced intimate show transporting you back in time to an era of battling clans and royals, murder and mayhem, passions and magic. Bringing into focus who Lady Macbeth really was, beyond what we thought was the full truth, she is shown as powerful but tender, a creature deeply connected with her intuition and nature. Love, friendship, childbirth, as well as hate, remorse and deep despair are deeply felt and acted and leave you riveted and moved.
