What I liked
This show is EVERYTHING! Liza is a true, natural shining star! She has that IT factor that people talk about. As a performer, her vocals are massive, her comedic timing is impeccable, and her ability to command a room and turn a crowd of strangers (and friends) into a disco-fueled support group is awe-inspiring. The concept is pure genius; blending live disco covers and audience participation to create a “group therapy” session is such good medicine for the soul! Having worked with Liza creatively, I already knew she was an immense talent, but seeing her completely take over the room in this element was a spectacular experience of her pure magic. It was such a beautiful and necessary reminder that we are all works-in-progress; to be gentle and forgiving with ourselves, and to acknowledge how hard that is to do; especially in these dark times! It was a reminder to lean on your people who love you and let it out. It was joyous and hopeful and fun, yet unabashedly real and refreshingly, admirably, impressively, and completely vulnerably honest. Liza has so much coming her way, she deserves all of it, and this show is an absolute MUST-SEE!

“DISCO THERAPY” is an absolute POWERHOUSE of a show! It is SO MUCH MORE than an immersive cabaret! Liza has crafted a wildly entertaining, yet deeply important, cathartic, high-energy masterpiece that effortlessly blends music, comedy, and true authenticity into the ultimate collective healing experience. You simply cannot leave this room without feeling lighter, happier, and more forgiving of and connected to yourself!
